Marinated Tofu Rice Bowl

Ingredients

   •   300g tofu

   •   Green onion

   •   1 tsp minced garlic

   •   50g broccoli

   •   A small amount of ginger

Sauce

   •   Water

   •   2 tbsp TK Bulgogi Kalbi Sauce

   •   1 1/2 tbsp water

   •   1 tsp sesame oil

   •   A pinch of pepper

   •   Potato starch (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the tofu into 1cm thick slices.

  2. Finely chop the green onion.

  3. Slice the ginger thinly and julienne it.

  4. Heat oil in a pan and grill the tofu and broccoli until golden brown.

  5. In another pan, heat oil and stir-fry the green onion and garlic until fragrant.

  6. Mix TK Bulgogi Kalbi Sauce with water, then add it to the pan with the stir-fried green onion and garlic. You can add a bit of potato starch water to thicken the sauce. Finish with a pinch of pepper and sesame oil.

  7. Pour the prepared sauce over the grilled tofu and broccoli, then simmer briefly.

  8. Serve the dish over a bowl of rice, drizzle a bit of sauce, and top with the simmered tofu and broccoli. Garnish with chopped green onion and black sesame seeds.

  9. Serve with julienned ginger and wasabi on the side.
