Stir-Fried Spicy Squid

Ingredients

   •   1 squid

   •   1/2 onion

   •   100g carrot

   •   1 green onion

   •   1 chili pepper

   •   4 perilla leaves

Seasoning

   •   3-4 tbsp TK Spicy Sauce

   •   1 tsp black pepper

   •   1/2 tbsp mirin

   •   1 tbsp sesame oil

   •   1 tsp sesame seeds

   •   1 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Slice the onion into thick strips.

  2. Cut the carrot into thin slices. Slice the green onion and chili pepper diagonally.

  3. Roughly chop the perilla leaves.

  4. Score the squid diagonally, then cut it into 1.5 cm thick pieces. Slice the squid legs into long strips.

  5. Heat a frying pan, add cooking oil, and stir-fry the onion and carrot.

  6. Once the vegetables are half-cooked, add the squid and TK Spicy Sauce. Mix well and stir-fry.

  7. Add the mirin, green onion, and chili pepper. Stir-fry until combined.

  8. Finally, add the perilla leaves, sesame oil, and black pepper. Stir quickly and serve hot.
